Wilburs II is by far my most prized accomplishment.

I came up with the theme while on a vacation to Navarre Beach, Florida with family.

During a very depressive time in my life, mixed with a slur of health issues, this record and its creation comforted me.

My goal was to add in as many “natural” sounds as possible. Including mandolins, piano, and organ. I also used guitar slides, ebows, and a vintage keyboard from the early 80’s.

I still believe this is my most realized and cohesive record to date. The music seemed to flow out of me with a grace of which I hadn’t had before.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: put this record in my casket.
